Basic Information

Overview of the SYND token - purpose, specifications, deployments, and current status.

Token details

The SYND token is the native digital asset of the Syndicate Network, designed to power appchains, facilitate transactions, secure the network, and align stakeholders across the ecosystem.

Core information

SYND is deployed as an ERC-20 token with a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. The token serves as the gas token for the Syndicate Network and Commons Chain, enabling all appchain sequencing transactions and network operations. Through its utility as both a gas token and staking asset, SYND creates economic alignment between appchain developers, users, and the broader Syndicate ecosystem.

Current status

The SYND token is currently in its pre-launch phase. During this period, tokens are nontransferable to ensure fair distribution and proper ecosystem preparation. This includes allocated tokens for the team, investors, pre-launch partnerships, and airdrop recipients. The nontransferable period allows the network to establish its foundation while preventing speculation and ensuring all participants are aligned with the long-term success of the Syndicate Network.

Note: More information about token utility, staking mechanics, and ecosystem participation will be added to these docs ahead of public launch. Stay tuned for updates as we approach the network's full deployment.
